Privacy Policy

Last updated: Aug 4, 2026

This policy explains what information Relearning Wellness collects, why, and what happens to it. I’ve tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

Relearning Wellness is operated by Brian Bitner in North Carolina, United States. You can reach me at relearningwellness@gmail.com.

What I collect

When you fill out the intake form. Your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, and your answers about sleep, energy, food, movement, stress, and daily routines. This form is hosted on Google Forms and responses are stored in my Google account.

When we work together. Notes from our conversations, your Personal System Plan, and your weekly check-in replies. If you consent to it, an audio or video recording of our initial call.

When you buy something. Purchases are processed by Payhip. They handle payment details directly — I never see or store your card number. I receive your name, email, and what you purchased.

When you visit this site. Standard technical information like IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and time on site. This is collected automatically by my web host and analytics tools.

About the health-related information you share

The intake form and our conversations cover things like sleep, stress, eating patterns, and energy levels. That’s personal, and I treat it that way.

You should know that I’m not a healthcare provider and Relearning Wellness is not a covered entity under HIPAA. That means what you share with me is not protected health information in the legal sense, and it doesn’t carry the protections it would in a medical setting. I keep it confidential as a matter of practice and professional respect — but I want you to understand the difference rather than assume protections that don’t apply.

Share what’s useful for the work we’re doing. You don’t have to share more than that.

Call recordings

I record initial calls so I can revisit what you actually said when building your plan, rather than relying on notes taken while listening. Recordings are for my use only. They are not shared, published, or used for marketing.

You can decline recording — just say so before or during the call. You can also ask me to delete a recording at any point, and I will.

How I use your information

  • To decide whether 1:1 support is a good fit
  • To prepare for our call and write your Personal System Plan
  • To respond to your check-ins and adjust your plan
  • To deliver anything you’ve purchased
  • To send you emails you’ve asked for
  • To understand how people use this site so I can improve it

I don’t sell your information. I don’t rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers.

Who else touches your data

Running a small business means using other companies’ tools. Each has its own privacy policy:

  • Google — hosts the intake form, my email, and documents
  • Payhip — processes payments and delivers digital products
  • Wealthy Affiliate — hosts this website
  • Amazon — if you click an affiliate link, Amazon may set cookies to track that the visit came from here
  • Video call software — used for our sessions

Beyond these, I share your information only if you ask me to, or if I’m legally required to.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are Amazon affiliate links. If you buy through one, I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Clicking these links takes you to Amazon, where their privacy practices apply instead of mine.

Cookies

This site uses cookies for basic functionality and to understand general traffic patterns. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies, though some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

How long I keep things

Intake responses from people I don’t end up working with: deleted within one year.

Client records and plans: kept while we’re working together and for three years afterward, in case you return or a question comes up.

Call recordings: deleted once your plan is written, unless you ask me to keep them.

Purchase records: kept as long as tax and business requirements call for.

Your choices

Email me at relearningwellness@gmail.com and I’ll:

  • Tell you what information I have about you
  • Correct anything that’s wrong
  • Delete your information, unless I’m required to keep it for tax or legal reasons
  • Remove you from any emails

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or national privacy law. Ask and I’ll do my best to honor them regardless.

Security

I use reputable services, protect my accounts, and limit access to your information to myself. No system online is perfectly secure, and I won’t pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affected your information, I’d tell you.

Adults only

Relearning Wellness is for adults 18 and older. I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact me and I’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I’ll update the date at the top. Meaningful changes affecting current clients will come with an email.
